Where in the world is Pamela?
Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog. Thanks for checking it out.
Let me start by giving you the purpose of this blog. I need help. I'm not going to ask you to send money or spend a lot of time doing something you don't have time for. All I need is for people to check the blog now and then and throw some encouraging comments my way.
I'm trying to get healthier. I've started an exercise program. I'm eating healthier. I've started going back to the chiropractor. And here's the next step...
My exercise program at this point mostly involves walking and a little jogging. I plan to get a bike in the spring and use those miles as well. So I've decided to keep track of my miles walked. I'm going to map out "where I've been". I may never physically leave Tomah while I'm walking but I can daydream of all the places my walks will take me. The blog will be written as if I'm actually going to the places I've walked enough miles to be.
I have an extremely ambitious plan for a first destination. I want to go 1200 miles to TX to "visit" my daughter at Ft Hood. Along the way, I'll be going through Madison, Chicago, St Louis and other places with interesting stuff to see. I'll be posting photos of places I've actually been in the past and pulling some from the internet to keep it looking like a real trip. If you have visited somewhere that I mention in the blog, feel free to post your photos and comments! If I come through your area, feel free to "walk" with me for as long as you like and post your own experiences and comments. Or maybe you'll just "catch up" with me somewhere to walk along with me for awhile.
